A subscription is a convenient form of payment for services. According to it, both an occupation and a visit are cheaper than a one-time one. However, quite often life circumstances develop in such a way that it is impossible to temporarily visit the place where the subscription was bought from you. And in this regard, the first question that arises is: "How can you get money back for an unspent subscription?"

Step 1
First of all, it is necessary to contact directly the staff of the club, solarium, fitness center, etc. If none of the visits of the subscription was made, it is considered unused and can be taken back by the institution. The money must be returned. To do this, you need to write a statement addressed to the head of the organization with which you intend to cooperate. Indicate in it the reason why you have to change plans. As a rule, these are health problems or moving to another city or country. Attach supporting documents to your application - a certificate from a doctor or papers confirming the move. The money must be returned to you.
Step 2
If you have already started using the subscription, but cannot continue, then in this case you can return the money. According to Article 32 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", you are required to transfer money back for the remaining unused services. The institution will calculate the amount of compensation on its own at its own rates. However, if you disagree with the amount, you can challenge it in court.
Step 3
You can refuse a subscription and not only in those cases when it is really and for objective reasons it is not possible to receive paid services. The legislation provides for refusal of services and getting money back even if you just change your mind or find an institution with more acceptable conditions for you. In this case, also on the basis of your application, you are obliged to return the money for the subscription.
Step 4
If you cannot get money from the establishment, you do not want to get involved in litigation, and the refund amount is not important for you, you can simply resell your subscription to another person. To do this, you need to come with a customer to the institution in which you have a subscription, and re-register it for another person. In some cases, you may be asked to pay extra for this procedure.
