It is confirmed by an information letter, which indicates the main and additional types of economic activities that the enterprise will be engaged in. They can be changed later.

Step 1
The assignment of statistics codes is carried out in accordance with the all-Russian classifiers. If, in the course of conducting business activities, it becomes necessary to change its registered type, this is usually associated with a change in the profile of the enterprise or with the fact that it expands the scope of its activities. In this case, the classifier OKVED (All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities) is used. These changes require registration in the constituent documents, data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) and changes in statistics codes.
Step 2
The exact correspondence of the activities carried out and its indication in contracts and acts of work performed by your enterprise, the correct design of the statistical codes used and the corresponding statistical accounting are the key to the successful operation of the enterprise, its adaptation to market conditions that are constantly changing. You, as a manager, must be completely sure that all the documentation of your company is executed correctly.
Step 3
Determine the new codes according to the OKVED classifier. Write to the tax office at the place of registration of your enterprise an application in the unified form R-14001 (if you are a legal entity) or in the form R-24001 (for individual entrepreneurs without forming a legal entity). After all the changes that have occurred are registered in the tax office and reflected in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, you will receive an extract about this. Based on this document, the Goskomstat authorities will issue you a new certificate indicating the current statistics codes.
Step 4
In addition to an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities or USRIP, you need to submit to the statistics authorities a copy of the protocol or decision on approving changes in types of economic activity, a copy of the state registration certificates (PSRN), on the assignment of TIN and the original of the initially received information letter with the previous statistics codes.
