In addition to compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO), there are voluntary types of insurance in our country. The most demanded of them can be called car insurance only (CASCO - from the Spanish "housing") and real estate from damage. You can receive compensation in the event of an insured event.

Instructions

Step 1

Calculate the size of the insurance payment for OSAGO. Here the insured event is an accident. Reimbursement is usually calculated based on the cost of damaged vehicle parts for medium and light damage, and the entire vehicle (what remains) for heavy damage. The residual value will be subject to reimbursement of spare parts and car parts requiring replacement. The appraiser will take into account the "age" of the vehicle. In the first year of operation, the cost of the car and spare parts is reduced by 18 percent, each subsequent year by 15. If you replaced any car spare part with a new one, and it was damaged in an accident, find a receipt from the store for this part. Its cost will be calculated based on the price and date of purchase indicated in the receipt. In addition to damage caused to the car, calculate the cost of its refurbishment,

services of an appraiser and a tow truck. If the accident caused harm to the health of the insured, the costs of his treatment or, in the event of death, of burial are reimbursed. The amount of the insurance payment cannot exceed the amount established by the OSAGO rules.

Step 2

Calculate the amount of CASCO insurance payment for damage caused to a car. Here, the calculation is also based on the service life of the vehicle. The percentage by which the cost of the car and its parts is reduced is the same as when calculating payments for OSAGO. Calculate the compensation at the cost of damaged parts and the cost of car repairs.

Step 3

Calculate the amount of compensation for damage caused to the insured property. Completely destroyed buildings (as a result of fire, natural disaster) will be subject to compensation at the residual value. The procedure for paying the amount of expenses for the restoration of damaged property is determined in the insurance rules of the company. The amount can be calculated based on the cost of materials and work as of the date of the conclusion of the contract, or at market prices in force at the time of the insured event.
