This is due to the fact that in the manufacture of banknotes, the State Sign uses embossed paper, while counterfeits are usually printed on plain paper. In addition, on real banknotes, where shadows are drawn, the paint layer is thicker, which is tactile.

Consider the coat of arms of Yaroslavl from different angles. It should change its color from purple to greenish brown. There are no tone transitions in counterfeit money. the drawing is usually just covered with sparkles.

Check the bill for light. The metal thread should be single, solid. Counterfeiters glue pieces of foil between sheets of paper, which makes the security strip appear intermittent. Pay attention to the watermarks. They should not only be gray and white, but also have halftones.

Take as a reference the thousandth bill, the authenticity of which you do not doubt. Armed with a magnifying glass, compare them. The security fibers of the original banknote clearly stand out from the paper, and on the counterfeit they are imitated on a color printer. On the real thousand, all the details of the drawing and small letters of the inscriptions are carefully traced, while a fake can be blurry and indistinct.
Step 7
Pay attention to micro-perforation. It should be the same on both sides. When making a note in artisanal conditions, the holes are applied with an ordinary needle, as a result of which the injection site looks smoother than the needle exit point on the back of the paper.
