Instructions

Step 1

Please note that since 2011, to calculate sick leave benefits, they take the average salary of an employee for the last 2 years of work, and not for a year, as before. It turns out that those who have not worked for a period of 2 years will receive less than those who have worked without interruptions. If the employee received a salary increase one year ago, then he will receive less than the one who earns consistently, but for two years.

Step 2

When calculating sick leave, keep in mind that now all days of the year are taken into account, and not just working days. Previously, in order to determine the amount of sick leave payment, it was necessary to divide the annual salary by the number of working days. And now it is divided by the number of all calendar days for the last 2 years (by 730). Previously: salary * 12 (months): 260 (days) = the cost of one working day;

Now: salary * 24 (months): 730 (days) = the cost of one working day;

The cost of one working day * the number of days missed due to illness = the amount of sick leave payment.

Step 3

Do not forget that there is an upper limit on earnings, which is accepted for calculating sick leave benefits and is equal to 415 thousand rubles per year or 34 583 rubles per month. At the same time, payments for temporary disability, as before, depend on the length of service. The maximum payment will be received by those who have worked for more than 8 years. Work experience for more than 8 years - 100% of the average wage for two years;

Work experience 5-8 years - 80% of the average wage for two years;

Work experience less than 5 years - 60% of the average wage for two years.

Step 4

If you have not worked for two years, now you have found a job, and after working for a week, you get sick, then you will be charged sick leave benefits, starting from the minimum wage - 4,330 rubles.
