We often complain about extortionate interest in banks for loans. How easier it would be to live if we ourselves could save up a certain amount for a large purchase. And how many people among us who spend money on all sorts of nonsense, instead of collecting all these "little things" together and spend it usefully. This is where the ability to accumulate capital comes in handy.
Of course, the methods described below are more suitable for those who do not live from paycheck to paycheck, not allowing themselves not only anything superfluous, but also borrowing money for the necessary. Nevertheless, even these people are worth a try. It may not be so fast and not so easy, but it is possible to save money in this case as well.
1. At the end of each day, revise your card and wallet balances. Round off this amount. So, for example, if you have 34,568 rubles 80 kopecks left, decide to what shares you will round this amount so that you feel comfortable. Someone can afford to leave only even thousands on the account, while someone will put aside only 80 kopecks "in the piggy bank". In the end, this is also a result.
2. You might as well try to save a certain percentage of each paycheck. Let it be 1% at first or at least 0.5% - literally in a year you will be pleasantly surprised by the accumulated amount.
3. If suddenly an unplanned income comes from somewhere, feel free to put it into your savings account. After all, you did not count on this money, which means that it will not be so difficult to refuse it. Okay, I really believe that sometimes I want to pamper myself. Then set aside at least some of the unplanned income.
4. There is a category of people who like to go to the store to buy something they like. And he buys simply on the basis of "liked it", knowing in advance that it will not be used in everyday life. In this case, it is almost impossible to accumulate money. But if willpower does not work just like that, then maybe just the "piggy bank" will help? Pull yourself together and set aside those funds instead of buying another trinket. After all, you were going to spend them anyway, which means that for you this is not such a significant amount to remain in your wallet. But having accumulated a larger amount, you can really afford something more worthwhile.
5. Inspect your bad habits. What if you want to get rid of them? And then there is a good incentive. For example, the money that was spent every day on cigarettes or cakes can be safely deposited into a special account. Again, you spent them - which means you can afford and postpone. But in addition, you will kill two more birds with one stone: health is better, finances are more voluminous.
6. Learn to “lose” money. Surely each of us at least once in his life left a couple of hundred rubles in a winter jacket. It is so nice to find them in the fall. Think about how much you would not mind losing (50, 100 rubles), and "lose" it from time to time in your piggy bank.
7. Get yourself a very material piggy bank, which are sold in gift shops, and start putting some specific coin there. Maybe it will be 10 rubles or a "penny", or maybe you will be able to afford a paper "hundred". This has become especially relevant now, when cashless payments are becoming more and more popular. Every time you have the coin you need in your hands, feel free to send it to your piggy bank.
8. Many people use this method of distributing their budget, when money is laid out in piles or envelopes: this one for utilities, this one for education, and this one for food. Get yourself another envelope called "just in case." By distributing even quite a bit of money there, you can collect a fairly pleasant amount in a few months.
