To increase consumer demand, it is not enough to present a variety of products on the shelves. It is necessary to study the assortment, the lack of which is felt in neighboring retail chains.
Instructions
Step 1
Before drawing up a procurement plan for the next period, form an assortment of goods. To do this, conduct research: find out what products are most in demand among buyers. Interview salespeople and make lists of what gets sorted out faster. Plan to bring in more of this item.
Step 2
Conduct a survey among your visitors. Hand out questionnaires and ask them to write down what items are missing on the shelves. Let them indicate the brand and the approximate price for which they are ready to purchase this item. Do it under the guise of a bonus promotion. Among everyone who filled out the forms, give away prizes. Give the winner a product discount card. Attract sponsors from vendor backgrounds. They can organize a promotion inside the store.
Step 3
Bring the findings together. Make an assortment table. Create eight columns and as many rows in it as you plan to have items of goods. Name the columns as follows: number in order, name of the product by register, manufacturer, cost per unit, number of packages, cost of consignment, notes. Write down useful information here: addresses and phone numbers of suppliers, delivery times, etc. Under the table, write "total" and calculate the total.
