A brokerage license is issued to an organization or individual that meets the requirements of the FFMS. One of the main conditions for obtaining a brokerage license is a sufficient amount of own funds - at least 5 million rubles. In addition, it is necessary to have the appropriate technical support and accounting system, as well as qualified personnel who have passed special exams.
Step 3
In order to engage in brokerage activities as an individual, you need good knowledge, communication skills, and, again, a license. To obtain it, an individual must pass a state exam. To pass it, you need to take courses, the duration of which ranges from two weeks to two months.
The Federal Financial Market Service is directly involved in the issuance of licenses, the term of execution of the license is from 30 days.
Step 4
To get started, a good broker also needs a high level of theoretical knowledge, preferably exceeding the volume taught in the courses. You also need to develop a good understanding of the securities market - how transactions are made, what is currently happening within the market. Experience as a trader will be a big plus.
