Step 1

Reflect the received proceeds from the sale of goods on the credit of subaccount 90.1 "Revenue" and the debit of account 50 "Cashier". If payment for the goods has been received on the current account, then account 51 is used. Thus, during the whole month, the amount is accumulated on subaccount 90.1. At the end of the month, you need to knock out the total revenue and check it against the data in the sales ledger.

Step 2

Charge VAT on the amount of proceeds from the sale of goods for the month. Reflect this operation on the credit of account 68 "Calculations for VAT" and the debit of sub-account 90.3 "VAT".

Step 3

Determine the amount of expenses for the sale of goods, which has accumulated on account 44, and write it off to the debit of subaccount 90.2 "Cost of sales". On the same subaccount it is necessary to write off the amount of goods sold on account 41 "Goods", as well as the amount of the accrued trade margin reflected on account 42.

Step 4

Receive the cash collector's proceeds. To account for it, reflect the amount on the debit of account 57 "Transfers in transit" in correspondence with subaccount 90.1 "Revenue". After that, it is necessary to determine the profit from sales, which is equal to deduction from subaccount 90.1 of all expenses reflected in other subaccounts of accounts 90. If a positive financial result is obtained, then it reflects on the debit of subaccount 90.5 "Profit from sales" in correspondence with account 99 "Profit" … Otherwise, a loan is opened on subaccount 90.5 “Loss from sales”.

Remember that all operations for the sale of goods must be drawn up by issuing a check or an invoice. In some cases, you can use a letter of demand or an order selection sheet in the form of TORG-8. To receive payment for the goods, you must issue an invoice. Without fail, the documents must have a round seal of the trade enterprise and the signature of the person responsible for the sale.
