A new European-style dry cleaner is not yet a very common enterprise in the Russian sphere of consumer services, which is why the market for dry cleaning services is still far from saturation. Many experts, however, are inclined to believe that mini dry cleaners in the near future will become a popular alternative to home washing in our country for representatives of not only the wealthiest strata of society, but also the middle class.

It is necessary

  • - a room in a detached building with an area of 150 square meters;
  • - a project agreed with a number of licensing authorities;
  • - a set of equipment for mini dry cleaning.

Instructions

Step 1

Try to find a ready-made room that meets all the requirements for mini-dry cleaning equipment, so as not to invest too much in the construction of a new building from scratch. Dry cleaning can be located only on the ground floor, only in a separate building and only at a distance of 100 meters from residential buildings. At the same time, of course, it would be wrong to take out the dry cleaning service to the industrial zone, since the reception and delivery of things will have to be carried out in the same place as their processing. The minimum area of the room for a mini-dry-cleaner, together with a pick-up point, is 150 meters.

Step 2

Draw up a dry cleaning project (it is best to order it from a specialized company that carries out this type of work), and then coordinate it with representatives of the architecture and urban planning department of the city administration. It is also important that the project is approved by firefighters, that is, employees of the fire inspection, and Rospotrebnadzor, which shows particular close attention to institutions of this type.

Step 3

Research the market for equipment for mini dry cleaners, try to find acceptable options for yourself and contact potential suppliers. It is worth looking for an economy option in the form of used machines only if you simply do not have enough funds for new equipment, but if there is an opportunity to purchase new equipment, it is better to do this, since together with it you will acquire high-quality professional installation and warranty service. The minimum set of equipment for mini dry cleaning includes two or three machines that process clothes with perchloethylene, a cabin with a stain remover gun and several air-steam dummies.

Step 4

Recruit staff for dry cleaning, selecting people based on their personal qualities, since such work does not require special qualifications. The first batch of workers will need to be trained, with which the equipment suppliers will help, the subsequent employees who are hired to you will learn in practice from their more experienced colleagues. In total, two shifts of three people are enough for a mini-dry cleaner (two work in the production area, one at the point of reception and delivery).
