Step 1

The concept of "strategy" came to us from Ancient Greece. Initially, the term was used to refer to the art of warfare and army building. Then the scope of use of this word became wider, and now it is called a deliberate plan of doing business (in almost any area). There are many types of strategies.

Step 2

State strategy. This is a strategy that determines the direction of changes in the balance of power of social strata at a particular stage of historical development. Usually, the state has a list of specific tasks, based on which the state maintains order in society, regulates the activities of citizens, and also maintains conditions for personal initiative, protects security, property and personal freedom.

Step 3

Military strategy. This type of strategy is the science of warfare (the highest manifestation of the art of war). Military strategy includes both theoretical questions and questions of the practice of preparing for war, planning and conducting it. Military strategy also deals with the study of the laws of the course of war, being a part of military affairs.

Step 4

Geostrategy. This type of strategy is a political science that determines the means and methods of achieving the assigned task of the state, or a group of allied states - to preserve and increase its (their) power. In an ongoing crisis, geostrategy is used to minimize damage and restore the original balance.

Step 5

Strategic planning. It is a complex of actions related in space and time. These actions are aimed at results - the implementation of strategic objectives. This concept is most typical for business and government.
