Getting a debit card is easy. To do this, you will need a minimum of documents (a passport with permanent registration is enough) and time, unless you have to wait for its production. Some banks (in particular, Sberbank of the Russian Federation) may practice linking the office where the card can be issued to the place of residence. But most of them do not have this limitation.

Step 1
Having chosen the bank whose card you want to get, the type and class of this product, contact the specialists of its nearest branch and let them know about your desire. If, after a preliminary acquaintance with the terms of issue and maintenance of cards, you still have any questions, it's time to find out everything before processing the documents.
Step 2
Carefully study the package of documents that will be offered to you for review (agreement, bank tariffs, etc.). Ask for clarification of any unclear points. Although a debit card, unlike a credit card, does not involve using the bank's money, only yours, the relationship with a credit institution is a financial issue that cannot be frivolous by definition.
If everything is clear and satisfactory, sign the documents in the right places.
Step 3
The card, if you have not paid for its urgent issue (many banks offer this service for additional money) will be ready within a week. Most often, you need to pick it up at the bank office, having previously specified readiness by phone. In some cases, it can also be sent to your specified postal address.
If you connect to mobile or internet banking, you will also be given access keys or instructions on how to create them.
